Job Description

Project Manager (Facilities / Building & Construction) – 1 Year Contract

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in building and construction works to support the delivery of facilities-related projects. This role will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Design Phase

  • Define project scope in collaboration with stakeholders and end users
  • Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and execution plans
  • Coordinate with consultants on design development and technical requirements
  • Manage submissions for permits and regulatory approvals
  • Lead project meetings and ensure proper documentation

Procurement & Tendering

  • Support tender processes including preparation of documentation and bid evaluation
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors during pre- and post-tender stages
  • Review and align contract terms, budgets, and project requirements

Construction & Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day project execution and site activities
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, cost, and quality to ensure alignment with plans
  • Review technical submissions, change requests, and variations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Project Closeout

  • Manage project completion, handover, and documentation
  • Ensure all testing, commissioning, and statutory approvals are completed
  • Oversee defect management and final project reconciliation
  • Prepare project reports and closeout documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building construction or A&A (addition and alteration) projects
  • Proven experience managing projects across the full lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and contract management
  • Experience working with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
  • Good project management skills including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

  • This is a 1-year contract position
  • Candidates with experience in commercial, hospitality, or large-scale facilities projects will have an advantage
  • Only candidates with relevant project management and construction experience will be considered
