Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master (Banking & Financial Services)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced senior project manager / Scrum master with strong techno-functional expertise in investment banking and retail banking. The ideal candidate will drive large-scale transformation initiatives, lead Agile teams, and deliver high-impact projects across digital and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale banking and financial systems
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Manage risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements (KYC, onboarding, etc.)
• Deliver process automation and digital transformation initiatives
• Oversee system upgrades, patch lifecycle management, and infrastructure improvements
• Ensure successful implementation of data reporting, BI dashboards, and analytics solutions
• Track KPIs, monitor project performance, and provide regular reporting
• Handle stakeholder communication, escalations, and governance

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management within Banking/Financial Services
• Proven experience as Scrum Master / Agile Coach
• Strong expertise in the investment banking / Retail Banking domain
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects
• Hands-on experience with process automation and digital transformation
• Strong knowledge of KYC, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in QA, test management, and process improvement is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
