Business Analyst - Middle Office Operations

This role supports the migration of business activities from an existing operating model to a new service provider. The Operations Analyst will work closely with project teams, subject matter experts, and external service providers to analyse, cleanse, validate, and prepare transactional, market, reporting, and reference data across Aladdin and other investment platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Support project teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), model office, and pilot testing phases
• Design test scenarios and scripts with SMEs to validate future-state operational processes across data, trades, corporate actions, reconciliation, and reporting
• Perform detailed reconciliation of migration data, independently validating results and explaining variances
• Develop future-state business process maps and support the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements using structured elicitation techniques
• Conduct impact assessments covering current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes, systems, and operating structures
• Perform data analysis to cleanse, standardise, and ensure consistency and quality of data
• Identify gaps, define resolutions, and ensure requirements completeness
• Document requirements and processes using industry-standard methodologies and notations
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and obtain formal sign-off on requirements and process documentation
• Liaise with service providers to align on requirements, constraints, and solution capabilities

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Asset Management OperationsHands-on experience with Aladdin, Multifond, and other investment or accounting platforms.
• Strong experience in data analysis and change or transformation initiatives
• Solid understanding of Front Office, trade lifecycle, and operations processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skillsKnowledge of R and/or Python is an advantage
• High attention to detail with a strong customer and delivery focusProven ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.
