Data Engineer (AWS + Databricks OR GCP BigQuery & GA) (JD#10841)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Engineer to support government domain projects, focused on building and managing scalable data platforms and pipelines. The role requires strong technical expertise in either AWS with Databricks (Spark/PySpark) or Google Analytics with BigQuery, along with a solid execution mindset. 

Mandatory Skill-set

• Hands-on experience building and managing data platforms and pipelines;
• Cloud & Analytics stack (either one required):

Track A: Azure & Databricks

Track B: Google Analytics with BigQuery;

• Experience in data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows;
• Data quality & performance: Ability to ensure data reliability, quality, and system performance;
• Experience optimizing data processing and storage solutions;
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience working on government or regulated domain projects;
• Exposure to data analytics platforms and reporting use cases;
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design best practices;
• Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in cloud environments;
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing and high-volume datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines and analytics platforms;
• Design and implement data ingestion and transformation workflows;
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions;
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of data systems;
• Optimize data processing and storage solutions;
• Support Agile development practices and project delivery.
