Job Description
About the company
This employer is a well-established, homegrown retail F&B brand in Singapore with a strong presence across multiple neighbourhood locations. The business operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and places strong emphasis on operational discipline, consistency, and people culture.
About the job
This is an individual contributor role within the HR function, suited for a practical, execution-driven professional who enjoys being on the ground and working closely with frontline teams. The role focuses on day-to-day people operations, workforce coordination, and outlet support, with direct exposure to the founders and key decision-makers, and is ideal for someone who is agile, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic retail environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end people operations for frontline and support staff, including recruitment, onboarding, probation tracking, and exits
• Coordinate and monitor manpower needs across multiple outlets, ensuring adequate staffing and early identification of gaps
• Work closely with outlet leaders and operations teams to address day-to-day people and workforce issues
• Support performance management processes, including feedback, disciplinary actions, and documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records, trackers, and employment documentation in line with local regulations
• Assist with work pass and employment administration processes (execution-focused)
• Be present on the ground at outlets to understand operational realities and support execution
• Act as a reliable point of contact between frontline teams and management, ensuring follow-through and closure on people matters
Job Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations, or related fields
• 2–5 years of experience in people operations, operations, or HR-related roles within retail, F&B, or hospitality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, frontline-heavy environment
• Hands-on, organised, and execution-focused with strong follow-through
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle sensitive people matters professionally
• Fluent in English and able to communicate in Mandarin to effectively engage with frontline teams
• Adaptable, resilient, and willing to be on the ground rather than office-based
What’s on offer:
• An opportunity to be part of a growing retail F&B brand with strong momentum
• Competitive remuneration with performance-based incentives (basic up to SGD 4,500)
• Dynamic working environment with autonomy, ownership, and direct exposure to decision makers
