Job Description
We are a dynamic and growing law firm seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Paralegal to support our team in Civil Law and Family matters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and is eager to make a meaningful contribution within the practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist solicitors with case preparation, legal research, and drafting of legal documents.
• Manage client communications and deliver a high standard of client service.
• Prepare court forms, pleadings, and legal correspondence.
• File documents with the courts and liaise with external parties as required.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized case files, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team when necessary.
Requirements
• Diploma in Law or relevant legal qualification.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant paralegal or legal experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates with a strong interest in gaining hands-on legal experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in Civil Law and Family matters (e.g. divorce, child arrangements, contract disputes) is an advantage.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and organizational skills.
• Professional and approachable manner when dealing with clients.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a small team.
