Job Description
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
· Support management decision-making with in-depth business performance analyses.
· Partner with other department leads in cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and projects.
· Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
· Manage the daily operations of the finance department.
· Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.
· Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
· Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
· Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.
· Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
· Liaise with external bankers, auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretarial service providers.
· Establish and ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
· Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for corrections or improvements.
· Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Degree in Accountancy, or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA)
· More than 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
· Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel
· Possess exceptional business acumen
· Excellent organisational and leadership skills
· Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
· Team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
· Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/healthcare industry will be an advantage
