Senior Electrical Engineer

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: $3,250 – $4,500 + allowances
Location: Toa Payoh / Queenstown / Kent Ridge (working at Site - location to be discuss again)

Responsibilities

• Provide effective site problem-solving and coordinate works with clients on-site.
• Demonstrate strong engineering competency, particularly in electrical design and compliance with relevant building services codes and standards.
• Ensure materials and installation works by suppliers and subcontractors meet project specifications and ISO quality requirements.
• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor suppliers’ materials, equipment, and subcontractors’ workmanship quality.
• Prepare shop drawings and carry out drawing coordination with relevant parties.
• Develop work schedules and attend client, consultant, and internal coordination meetings.
• Support the Project/Engineering Manager in daily operations, including planning, quality control, and safety matters.
• Liaise closely with the main contractor to ensure proper coordination and minimize rework.
• Manage site materials and equipment efficiently to reduce wastage.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and subcontractors to prevent delivery delays that may impact project progress.
• Inspect works to identify non-conforming materials or installations and rectify defects promptly.
• Explore and recommend new technologies and installation methods to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor on-site progress closely and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification (Specialist Diploma in BIM will be an advantage)
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in electrical/building services engineering, hands-on site experience preferred
