Project Manager (Software/Applications)

Job Summary

You will be a key technology partner supporting customers in Singapore’s strategic sector, contributing to the development of next-generation IT solutions. Working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Leads, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of system and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, and Customers to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality IT solutions
• Design and implement reusable software components to improve development efficiency and maintainability
• Proactively identify and implement solutions that enhance system scalability, performance, and long-term operational efficiency
• Lead the design, development, testing, and debugging of system software to ensure robust and reliable performance
• Identify technical risks and challenges early in the development lifecycle and develop effective mitigation strategies
• Review code quality and system architecture to uphold best practices and ensure maintainability
• Drive adherence to software design and development standards across the team
• Stay informed of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve technical capabilities

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software or systems development
• Hands-on full-stack development experience with a strong foundation in Software Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience working in Agile development environments
• Proven experience managing at least one full software development lifecycle, including design, development, and testing
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and/or CI/CD pipelines for build and release automation
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++
• Experience with modern frameworks and technologies including Node.js, React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, Express.js, or FastAPI
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable SQL and NoSQL databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently present to stakeholders
• Demonstrated analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills applied to software development challenges
• Ability to work resourcefully, independently, and with accountability
• Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines
