Your Role as a Zenika Consultant

As an AI Engineer at Zenika, you’ll work as a consultant embedded in client teams, helping design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions. You’ll bridge the gap between data science and software engineering, ensuring models are reliable, maintainable, and production-ready.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, platform engineers, and developers — and you’ll play an active role in shaping AI practices both for our clients and within Zenika.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions into real production environments

• Develop and maintain model pipelines (training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring)

• Work with LLMs and GenAI use cases (e.g. RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agents)

• Translate business problems into pragmatic AI architectures

• Ensure models are scalable, observable, secure, and maintainable

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams using agile and modern engineering practices

• Advocate for responsible AI (ethics, bias, explainability, governance)

• Share knowledge through internal talks, blogs, meetups, or client workshops

What You Bring

We’re more interested in how you think than ticking every box — but here’s what typically helps:

• Strong programming skills in Python (and/or Java, Scala, Go)

• Hands-on experience with machine learning or deep learning frameworks
  (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)

• Experience taking models from experimentation to production

• Familiarity with LLMs / GenAI ecosystems (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)

• Understanding of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation

• Solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, clean code, APIs)

• Comfortable explaining complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
