Network Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to strengthen our organization’s infrastructure and cloud security posture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network security technologies including firewalls, secure remote access, and cloud-based security services.

Job Description:

· Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

· Manage and optimize firewalls (preferably FortiGate) and VPN infrastructure.

· Configure and maintain FortiSASE for secure remote access and cloud-delivered security.

· Integrate and manage CDN and WAF solutions such as Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, and Akamai.

· Collaborate with IT operations and DevOps teams to ensure secure network architecture.

· Monitor and respond to network-related security incidents and alerts.

· Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.

Requirements:

· 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.

· Strong understanding of networking principles and firewall technologies.

· Experience with FortiGate firewalls and FortiSASE.

· Familiarity with CDN and WAF platforms (Cloudflare, CloudFront, Akamai).

· Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their networking/security components.

· Security certifications such as CCNP Security or Fortinet NSE are a plus.
