Job Description

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
1) Technical Proposal & Tender Management

  • Prepare and submit detailed technical proposals, compliance matrices, datasheets, and tender documentation.
  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure alignment with proposed solutions.
  • Perform solution engineering, including review of construction drawings and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Collaborate with project teams and consultants to validate technical submissions against contractual and design specifications.

2) Pre-Sales Engineering & Solution Design

  • Conduct site surveys, gather critical data, and perform technical evaluations for system design.
  • Select optimal products/systems based on technical feasibility and client needs.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.

3) Testing, Commissioning & Issue Resolution

  • Execute system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex product/system issues (hardware/software).
  • Develop alternative solutions for product limitations or field failures.

4) Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Generate incident analysis reports, equipment records, and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate hardware/software databases and compliance trackers.
  • Deliver product training to clients and internal teams.

5) Collaboration & Innovation

  • Provide proactive technical updates to cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, PMO).
  • Support product innovation and improvement initiatives.
  • Attend project meetings and client technical reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1-3 years in HVAC, BMS, CRAC, or building systems technical support is preferred.
  • Open to fresh graduates with relevant project exposure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM tools for drawing review.
  • Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and engineering principles.
  • Proactive in diagnosing technical issues and delivering solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for client/stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and multitask in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and travel overseas for project.
