Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of both internal and external projects. This role works closely with internal teams such as IT, Product, QA, Operations, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives.
The role will also support project planning, coordination across stakeholders, and ensure effective communication between internal teams and external parties.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Support and lead the planning and coordination of internal and external projects.
Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and key deliverables.
Ensure projects are executed according to the agreed plan and schedule.
Project Coordination
Coordinate project activities across internal teams including IT, Product, QA, and Operations.
Track project timelines and ensure tasks are progressing according to plan.
Follow up with relevant stakeholders on project deliverables and milestones.
Stakeholder & External Liaison
Liaise with external partners, vendors, or service providers to support project implementation.
Coordinate project discussions with external stakeholders and ensure deliverables are aligned with project timelines.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external parties.
Project Monitoring
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, blockers, or delays.
Maintain project documentation and ensure project information is properly recorded.
Prepare project updates, reports, and summaries for management when required.
Team Coordination
Provide coordination support to project team members and ensure tasks are clearly assigned and followed up.
Assist in maintaining smooth collaboration across project stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams and external parties.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up ability.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. ClickUp, Jira, or similar tools) is an advantage.
