Industrial Engineering Senior Manager

Role Summary: 

The IE manager leads the Industrial Engineering team to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support production operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Capacity Planning – Plan for capacity needs based on production forecasts, proposed layout adjustments to accommodate new equipment and increase production volume. 

• Layout Planning - Develop and optimize layouts for manufacturing lines, equipment placement to ensure efficient use of space and resources. 

• Capital Investment planning and control - Develop and execute the capital investment planning and control aligned with business objectives. 

• Tool productivity planning and improvement - Oversee the allocation of manpower, tools, and equipment within the section. 

• Headcount planning and control – Analyze manpower requirements based on production goals, workload, and project timelines, forecast future headcounts needs considering process efficiency and capacity expansion. 

• Cost planning and control - Manage budgeting and cost analysis for the section operations. 

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:   

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineer or MBA is preferred 

• Minimum 5 years of management experience 

• Minimum 10 years and above semiconductor IE/Fab planning experience is preferred 

1. Candidate with project management experience is a plus.
