We are supporting a leading organisation operating highly critical national-level systems. This role sits within the Infrastructure Services team, responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise network infrastructure in a 24×7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support network and security infrastructure across Production, DR, and Test environments (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, DNS, NAC).
• Perform system hardening, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Provide Level 2 network support, including incident and problem management in line with SLA.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Execute disaster recovery plans and participate in regular DR drills.
• Support infrastructure projects and enhancements.
• Implement network changes following formal change management processes (CAB).
• Monitor capacity and performance, ensuring high availability.
• Participate in a 24×7 shift rotation (5-shift roster).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience in financial services or mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, DNS, and NAC.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Data centre experience is an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CCNA / CCNP
• Check Point, Palo Alto, or Fortinet certifications
• Certified Network Defender
