Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of scalable cloud environments. This role will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based systems while working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Support the design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud environments, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless platforms
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including networking, security, and access management

Collaboration & Integration

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to enable seamless integration of cloud-based applications with infrastructure services
• Contribute to solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with organizational IT policies, standards, and architectural guidelines

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to support day-to-day operations and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) and escalate where necessary

Support & Advisory

• Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on cloud-related matters, including best practices and usage optimization
• Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and innovations, and assess their relevance to the organization

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and manage IT architecture artefacts and documentation repositories
• Document cloud configurations, processes, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and governance
• Prepare regular reports and updates for the designated Officer-in-Charge and relevant stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Min 2 + years experience in cloud infrastructure support (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) will be advantageous
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code (IaC), serverless computing, containerization, and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus
