Job Description

We are seeking a Deputy Chief Executive Officer to partner closely with the Chairman and CEO in driving execution, performance, and alignment across GCL’s portfolio of businesses. This is a high-impact leadership role within a Nasdaq-listed environment, suited for a commercially astute and operationally strong executive who thrives in complex, multi-entity organisations. Key Responsibilities • Drive execution of strategy across subsidiaries, markets, and business lines • Oversee operational performance and ensure delivery of financial and business targets • Establish and strengthen KPI frameworks, reporting cadence, and accountability structures • Align leadership teams and drive organisational effectiveness across regions • Support capital allocation, investment decisions, and commercial initiatives • Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and compliance with Nasdaq / SEC requirements • Support investor engagement, corporate messaging, and key stakeholder relationships • Drive growth initiatives, transformation, and operational scaling across the business What We’re Looking For • Proven senior leadership experience (e.g., Deputy CEO, COO, Managing Director, or equivalent) • Strong track record in execution, operational leadership, and performance delivery • Experience managing multi-entity, regional or global organisations • Exposure to Nasdaq or U.S. listed-company environments, including familiarity with SEC reporting and governance frameworks, is strongly preferred • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including capital allocation and performance management • Experience in gaming, digital entertainment, technology, media, or IP-driven businesses is advantageous • Strong stakeholder management skills, with exposure to Board and investor interactions • Fluent in English; Mandarin/Chinese capability is advantageous to support business operations in Chinese-speaking markets
