Finance Manager (Treasury/CBD)

Brief Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities, including cash flow planning, bank loan management, group financing services, and foreign exchange risk management.
• Review loan agreements and ensure alignment with internal approvals while advising subsidiaries on group financing procedures.
• Manage credit limits and establish internal procedures for new entities.
• Conduct remittances and oversee treasury systems, including user ID control.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and capital management in collaboration with management.
• Supervise accounting operations, including journal slip reviews, monthly and annual closures, external audits, and tax calculations.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Lead internal governance functions like self-assessments and internal audit coordination, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Manage administrative staff, setting objectives, assessing remuneration, overseeing attendance, and addressing operational issues.
• Perform additional tasks related to finance, accounting, governance, or administration as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CFA are advantageous.
• Demonstrated managerial experience in finance, accounting, and tax operations.
• Familiarity with treasury operations, foreign exchange management, and corporate finance preferred.
• Strong grasp of financial statements, cash flow, and balance sheet management.
• Knowledgeable in Singapore's tax and accounting regulations; experience with cross-border tax matters is a plus.
• Previous experience with treasury systems like GCMS Plus or Treasury Stream is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
