Accounting Manager - WCAN

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and accounts executives, fostering skill development and performance excellence.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and statutory reports in compliance with SFRS and IRAS regulations.
• Review and validate team outputs for accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships, addressing complex accounting and tax issues as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-departmental activities to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or CPA certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of SFRS, corporate taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in professional services or corporate services firms is an advantage.
