Key Duties

Lead design and development of PLC, SCADA, and Control Systems (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)
Develop system architecture, control philosophies, and functional design specifications
Design control panels, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists
Perform hardware and software integration across multiple platforms and third-party systems
Involved in full project execution and liaising with client
Configure industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Support site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and debugging
Collaborate with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation and reports
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones
Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Propose improvements to system design, workflows, and engineering practices

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
5 - 8 years of experience in System Integration / Industrial Automation
Strong hands-on experience in PLC/SCADA programming and commissioning
Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
Experience in Control Panels and Instrumentation Systems
Able to travel to project sites within Singapore
Possess valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A driving license
