QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Write and execute test cases (manual or automated)
• Identify defects and analyse results
• Ensure all quality issues are properly documented, tracked and resolved in a timely manner
• Build and improve test automation and scripts for various application testing, in accordance to test strategy
• Build, review and improve existing QC reporting system
• Work closely with the team to continuously identify risks and close those gaps to ensure comprehensive test coverage for every product release
• Proactively identify problems, plan solutions, recommend testing & automation solutions that will meet business needs of the team
• Maintain and update testing dashboard to make testing metrics and testing activities visible
• Produce test summary reports for each test cycle
• Ensure that products are released error-free and that all features function as intended
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, languages and techniques
• Report directly to QC Manager and perform R&D Activities related with QC
• Support various QA/QC work across multiple projects implementation

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in software quality assurance, with a strong command of automated and manual testing
• Excellent documentation skills in drafting clear and concise test scenarios, test cases, along with in-depth knowledge of QA methodology
• Experience in either Java, JavaScript, Typescript programming languages
• Proactive, self-directed and able to work independently
