Job Summary
Manage safety and security operations to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with hotel policies. Lead staff scheduling, incident reporting, emergency preparedness, and enforce safety standards to maintain a secure environment for guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly staffing schedules and monitor staff attendance to optimize workforce planning and operational efficiency
- Maintain detailed hotel logbooks documenting incidents and complaints, and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant departments
- Resolve guest queries and complaints promptly to build positive relationships and enhance guest experience
- Anticipate and proactively address guest safety needs during Singapore events to ensure a secure environment
- Monitor and control guest areas to maintain high safety and security standards
- Enforce ACCOR and hotel security policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure uniformity and guest safety
- Develop and prepare annual capital and operating budgets for the Safety & Security Department
- Identify, report, and ensure immediate rectification of potential and actual hazards to prevent risks
- Demonstrate full knowledge of hotel Emergency Procedures, Policies, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct safety and emergency training sessions for all employees to enhance preparedness
- Organize and enforce regular emergency drills to safeguard guests and staff
- Apply hotel regulations fairly and comply with laws to protect persons and property within the premises
- Promote safe work practices among staff to minimize risk of injury or harm
- Implement safe manual handling techniques and adhere to Accor Health, Safety, and Environment policies to reduce environmental impact and prevent pollution
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety & Security Manager
Required competencies and certifications
- Certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management, and Basic Fire Fighting
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar safety and security role
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Fire Safety Manager Certificate
- Strong service orientation with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain effective operational controls to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
