Roles & Responsibilities

As a Systems Specialist, will be providing support in the following areas:

a) Windows system administration, including PowerShell scripting, system hardening, patching etc.

b) Linux (SuSE and Redhat) system administration, including shell scripting, system hardening, patching etc.

c) Virtualisation (VMware) administration, including provision of resources, hardening, patching etc.

d) Knowledge in Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management)

e) knowledge of the following:

• Storage technology and Storage area network

• Infrastructure troubleshooting (server, network and etc)

• Commercial Clouds (AWS, Azure and GCP)

• Dockers, Containers and Kubernetes Platform operations and administrations

• Server Anti-Virus Software and Patch Management Software

• Databases such as MS SQL, DB2 and etc

Requirements

a) Strong background in IT, Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or related discipline

b) Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the above technology is preferred.

c) Relevant experience in the following would be advantageous:

• Working with Docker Containers and Kubernetes

• Setting up and managing commercial cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP

• Infrastructure As Code, IT Automation Tool such as Ansible, Puppet.

d) Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills

e) Have good command of written and oral English

f) Must be able to work beyond business hours including weekend when necessary
