Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery & Platform Engineering

  • Set up new deployment pipelines and ensure seamless CI/CD processes using enterprise DevOps tooling.
  • Onboard new repositories into Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and JIRA, enabling end-to-end development lifecycle integration.
  • Perform environment provisioning and database setup across SIT, UAT, and PROD for new modules and application components.
  • Deploy, configure, and support applications on the OpenShift (OCP) platform, including troubleshooting and resolving deployment failures.
  • Facilitate vendor image downloads, validation, and deployment into the OCP environment.
  • Lead SSL certificate generation, renewal, deployment, and ensure security compliance across environments.
  • Implement and maintain logging and monitoring by onboarding applications into Splunk, Geneos, and other enterprise monitoring platforms.
  • Conduct CD deployments, log analysis, file movements, and operational execution of change releases across environments.
  • Support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, including Control M job creation, rehearsal planning, coordination, and execution.

2. Application Support & Technical Analysis

  • Perform detailed technical issue analysis and resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery from incidents.
  • Support solution architects and developers in functional issue analysis and system debugging.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Work closely with upstream/downstream systems, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure end to end integration stability.
  • Manage and configure SSO / ADFS integrations for new applications.
  • Maintain and update knowledge bases, runbooks, system documentation, and Confluence pages.

3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with multiple upstream/downstream teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support delivery and operational processes.
  • Coordinate JIRA workflows including epics, stories, tasks, deployment tracking, and release management.
  • Work closely with DBAs, infrastructure teams, network/security teams, and external partners to ensure smooth application onboarding and operations.
  • Drive strong communication across all teams to enable predictable and high quality delivery.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands on experience with OpenShift (OCP) including deployment, pod diagnostics, YAML updates, image management, and debugging. 
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins (or similar), and DevOps automation concepts. 
  • Experience onboarding and maintaining monitoring/logging tools such as Geneos, Splunk, Kibana, etc.
  • Proficiency in Linux scripting, shell commands, file movement, and troubleshooting. 
  • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and database environment setup across SIT/UAT/PROD. 
  • Experience creating and maintaining Control M batch jobs. 
  • Good understanding of SSL certificates, keystores, truststores, and certificate lifecycle management. 
  • Understanding of Payment Systems, payment workflows, and downstream/upstream dependencies. 
  • Ability to set up and administer applications on SSO/ADFS platforms.
  • Exposure to Confluence, JIRA workflows, dashboards, boards, and release traceability. 
  • Preferred to have knowledge or has worked on FIS Products
