Cloud Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to own and evolve one of our AWS Cloud Services. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS solutions while mentoring and guiding a high-performing engineering team. You will lead Infrastructure as Code practices, drive automation, and act as the AWS subject matter expert.

Beyond technical delivery, you will partner closely with stakeholders to align business needs with cloud capabilities, shaping the future of our cloud platform through innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of AWS solutions
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong DevOps and collaboration culture
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance requirements are met
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability, scalability, and productivity
• Own IaC and automation using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and AWS automation tools

Requirements:

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex cloud initiatives
• Strong stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills
• Deep hands-on expertise with core AWS services; certification is a plus
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and scripting
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, AWS best practices)
