Job Description

· Accountable for network setup, annual server maintenance, event & alert management

· Monitoring network, Firewall, VPN, servers, gateways and intrusion detection systems

· Performing system and patches upgrades following new releases

· Maintaining internal documentation and policies

· Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security projects/task.

· Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

· Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

· Provide user training to new hire & existing staff annually

· Work closely with vendors for equipment maintenance

· Assist with internal & external audits

· Daily CCTV checks and performance

· Assist with vulnerability assessment and penetration Testing (VAPT) & following remedial action

· Backup initiation, reports and transported to offsite location (Certis CISCO) for safe-keeping

· Ad-hoc duties as required

Requirement

· Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop

Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role

· Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role

· Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

· Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent

· Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

· Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex & basic technical issues

· Experience with data backup & recovery

· Knowledge of Basic Information Security is a must

· Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus

· Fortigate & Palo Alto knowledge will be a plus

· Financial & MAS compliance requirements will be a plus
