Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Control & Reporting: Lead full set of accounts, monthly management reports, and financial analysis.
- Project Cost Control: Monitor Project Working Capital (WIP), contract billing, certifications, and variations.
- Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage high-value projects cash flow, banking relationships, and secure competitive bonds/insurance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts to track project financial health.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with Singapore financial reporting standards and tax regulations, managing internal/external audits.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering process improvements.
- Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent; CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience, with specific experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office (specifically Excel), and accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
- Competencies: Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, proactive leadership, and ability to work with site teams and management.
