QA Engineer (Whitebox) - Open to Fresh Gradaute

We are looking for a QA engineer (Whitebox), who will be responsible to identify hidden problems of the system and to achieve early defects detection via automated whitebox testing using Junit framework.

Responsibilities

• ·Work closely with backend software engineers to tune code and databases (Oracle, MySQL)
• Unit Test execution and development using Java programming language and IntelliJ IDEA (Integrated Development Environment)
• Work closely with project team for gathering requirement and smooth testing
• Log and track defect using Jira and track all problem reports to closure
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• At least 1 year of programming experience in Java
• At least 1 year of experience in using JUnit framework
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in White Box testing
• Fluent speaking and writing in English and Chinese language for business communication needs
• Experience with source control management tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and understanding of git concept
• Experience with RESTful (Representational State Transfer) API 3-tier architecture
• Understanding of SOLID principle is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, creative, and detail oriented Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Self - starter and can work independently
• Capable to work under pressure
