Job Summary

The Assistant / Deputy Manager - Cybersecurity Architecture and Solutioning provides the architecture and solution in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies. He/she will be involved in creating clear and engaging architecture planning, strategizing, implementation and coordinate the acquisition, implementation and building of cybersecurity system/tool; assisting in the execution of security system and ensure smooth transition of the system to Security Operation team.

He/she is required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Technology Office, Enterprise Risk, Strategy & Transformation, the authorities) to effectively achieve the desire result

He/she must be instrumental in assisting other technology projects to meet regulation and responsible to authorities’ enquiries.

He/she has passion for cybersecurity, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Resourceful, persuasive and analytical, he/she is required to have exceptional cybersecurity and communication skills, a general understanding of cybersecurity principles, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise messages for all relevant stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Architecture and Solution
• Design, review, and plan security solutions, coordinating with end users and IT personnel.
• Track and monitor security solution setup, addressing issues as needed.
• Ensure solutions are within budget and cost-effective.
• Plan and manage technology strategies to enhance security controls, recommending improvements.
• Lead sustainable cybersecurity control improvements, ensuring compliance and conducting annual security tests.
• Stay updated on evolving threats and plan implementations accordingly.

Cybersecurity Advisory and assessment
• Support technology projects, advising teams to ensure compliance.
• Assist project teams in meeting stringent cybersecurity requirements, ensuring accurate information.
• Evaluate policy deviations, review justifications, and recommend approvals while minimizing risk.

CyberSecurity Risk management
• Assess third-party vendor cybersecurity risks, identify and monitor control implementations.
• Serve as the application security gatekeeper during development.
• Liaise with project teams on penetration test findings, ensuring timely closure and improvements.

Others
•Undertake any assigned projects / duties directed by Management(if any)

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Risk, Cybersecurity or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity role
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications and social media platforms
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and carry out tasks which are assigned by the Management.
  • Working hours - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm
