Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network architecture and improve overall system efficiency.
Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and upgrades.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment in Singapore.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and network architecture principles.
Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices from vendors such as Cisco, HP Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) and performance tuning.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
CCNP or equivalent certification is highly desirable; additional certifications (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.) are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
