Job Description
We are representing our client in the global technology and engineering space to look for an experienced sales manager. You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Defence sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the defence and security of Singapore. Working closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager and Technical Lead, you will be part of a development team to develop, test and deploy system/network infrastructure as part of an overall project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through covering the assigned territories, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services with confidence and conviction - have through and intensive knowledge of the proposed solution
- Create quality reviews and reports with sales and financial data that includes the pipeline file for sales cadence
- Forecast the sales opportunity closure probability from a business perspective with awareness of sales management such as sales numbers, attrition, headcount, training needs, etc.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences for both internal and external events.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with the pre-sales, delivery , support, partner alliance, and marketing team to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Sales
- Prior experience in Government and/or Enterprise sector will be an added advantage.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce software is a plus
- Technical hands-on experiencein delivering IT services is a plus
- Self-motivated with results-driven approach
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Have a positive attitude and confidence towards creating the sales activities, pipelines, and closure of sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain within team and client/customer relationship
