Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the Head of Finance is to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
1. Ensure full compliance with SGX Catalist listing rules, IFRS/SFRS standards, and corporate governance requirements.
2. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsol, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, Bank Reconciliations;
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances;
3. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records of the company and its' subsidiaries;
4. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements;
5. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting;
6. Prepare or review annual audit;
7. Oversee cashflow position and movement for group and subsidiaries on monthly basis;
8. Analyze and oversee risk of the Group and its subsidiaries;
9. Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
10. Support month-end and year-end close process;
11. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
12. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings;
13. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
14. Special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA or equivalent certification.
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, with SGX-listed company exposure.
- Proven experience in SGX Catalist compliance, sponsor dealings, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, IFRS/SFRS standards, and internal controls.
- Stakeholder management experience with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
