Job Description
KeyResponsibilities
• Commercial & Cost Management
• Lead project budgeting, cost planning, and forecasting
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and profitability
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives
• Contract Administration
• Draft, review, and manage contracts (main contracts and subcontracts)
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
• Handle contract variations, claims, and dispute resolution
• Manage extension of time (EOT) and liquidated damages (LD) matters
• Procurement & Vendor Management
• Oversee procurement strategies and tendering processes
• Evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Manage subcontractor performance and payments
• Ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and timelines
• Risk Management
• Identify commercial and contractual risks
• Develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies
• Stakeholder Management
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Support project teams with commercial advice and guidance
• Participate in project meetings and negotiations
• Claims & Dispute Resolution
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate claims
• Manage disputes in collaboration with legal teams
• Maintain proper documentation to support claims and variations
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 8–15 years of experience in construction/commercial management
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects
