Job Summary

This role as Semiconductor Fab Automation Engineer will design, maintain, and enhance Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications within a semiconductor fab environment. It will be involved in L1/L2 support to ensure stable and efficient production operations. 

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields; or Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in Equipment Manager Automation solutions; 
  • Experience in semiconductor fab automation, including MES and shop floor automation; 
  • Knowledge of SQL in Oracle; 
  • Familiarity with SECS/GEM (SEMI Equipment Communication Standard) and TIB/RV; 
  • Experience in executing fab automation project cycle and CIM products (SPC, RMS, MES); 
  • Experience in high technology manufacturing environment 

Desired Skill-set

  • A good team player with good communication skills and able to work independently; 
  • Knowledge of SQL in Oracle; 
  • Experience in MES, TIB/RV and shop floor automation; 
  • Experience in ZNT PAC development. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and enhance Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications and components for semiconductor fab operations; 
  • Provide 24/7 Level 1 and 2 support to ensure smooth operation of fab production lines; 
  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve fab system performance, response time, and availability; 
  • Gather requirements and develop new versions of SFA applications, including Equipment Manager automation solutions, for fab processes; 
  • Document requirements and coordinate system enhancements within the fab environment; 
  • Plan, organize, and deliver training for fab application users; 
  • Work with fab departments on productivity improvements, error reduction, and cost-saving initiatives.
