  • Manage cloud infrastructure to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain essential cloud services, networks, databases, and APIs in line with group architecture and security standards.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cloud environments to ensure high uptime, reliability, and performance, supporting incident response and resolution.
  • Perform maintenance activities such as backup/restore, job scheduling, system patching, and upgrades during approved change windows.
  • Oversee cloud usage, cost management, and governance to optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud services.

2. Cybersecurity

  • Develop and enforce information security strategies, standards, and policies aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Guide and continuously improve IT architecture and cybersecurity risk models that balance business needs with security posture.
  • Promote security awareness and education on best practices across the organization.
  • Advise senior management on security matters, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Lead cybersecurity incident management, including investigation, analysis, resolution, and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance controls across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Conduct regular Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) in collaboration with software and data teams.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS benchmarks.
  • Manage access controls, IAM policies, network security, encryption standards, and monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudTrail, Azure Monitor).
  • Monitor and report on security breaches and unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to embed security within CI/CD pipelines and system architecture.

3. IT Support

  • Provide IT support for senior management in both professional and personal capacities as required.

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, cybersecurity threats, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in infrastructure and security.
  • Conduct regular system reviews and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong expertise in AWS and Azure environments, including infrastructure design, deployment, and operational management.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Hands-on experience in performing VAPT, incident investigation, and managing cybersecurity operations.
  • Proficiency in IAM policy management, network security, encryption, and cloud monitoring tools.
  • Experience embedding security within CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with DevOps teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and optimization practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
