Logistics Operation Executive

YOUR ROLE The candidate will undergo a 12-months fast-tracked programme, with 5 rotations, to gain exposure and knowledge about our core businesses and how each function support and complement each other. He / She will also be given the chance to apply what they have learnt, both from school and through the programme via a business case challenge. The candidate is required to be creative, analytical and will have full autonomy to design and plan the business case project. He / She will also have a dedicated mentor and / or supervisor to guide them through the programme and business case challenge. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Operations - Understanding of key processes, material flow necessary to fulfill day-to-day operations - Develop technical understanding of types of Material Handling Equipment (MHEs), other Warehouse equipment (eg. Racking) and their suitability for the account or Warehouse - Analyze and evaluate on productivity and efficiency of current processes Client Relation Management & Systems - Exposure to external stakeholders and learning of how to manage client relations - Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) / related software - Develop knowledge of required documentations and key performance indicators that are guiding the business flows and functions - Develop knowledge of WMS functionalities, supporting tools (eg. Structured Query Language (SQL), Power Query, etc) Project Management - Knowledge and application of Project Management tools, such as DMAIC to design and document a project that provides productivity gains, cost savings, etc - Lead and manage the delivery of assigned scope of the project, end-to-end - Courage to bring in new perspectives and creativity onto the current business model WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR · Bachelors or University Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent · Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimum supervision on multiple projects within cross-functional teams · Strong computer and digital skills e.g. Microsoft Office 365 products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint), apps (Power Query, VBA) and services · Proficiency in presentation skills, verbal and written communication in English is required · Location: 10 Sunview Road (Pick Up at Jurong East and Outram) WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
