Network Lead (L2/L3 – Cisco, Security)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Lead to manage L2/L3 network operations and security in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, routing & switching, and network security, along with the ability to handle incidents, changes, and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for network and security operations to maintain system stability and performance
• Manage incident response processes to resolve issues promptly and ensure SLA compliance
• Execute network changes following change management protocols to minimize disruption
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security to proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Prepare detailed network analysis and incident reports to inform stakeholders and support continuous improvement
• Participate in operations reviews and lead initiatives to enhance network efficiency and reliability
• Support project transitions by ensuring smooth handover to operations teams
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational consistency
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and team training to build team capabilities and expertise

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco routers, switches, and WLAN technologies
• Cisco CCNP certification
• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols
• Experience in network security and load balancing

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, or Fortinet
• Familiarity with F5 load balancers
• Knowledge of Bluecoat proxy solutions
• Experience using Splunk for monitoring and log analysis
