DBA Database administrator MSSQL MongoDB

We are looking for a hands-on DBA to support mission-critical 24/7 systems in a secure environment.

This role focuses on production stability, high availability, performance tuning, and incident management across SQL Server and MongoDB platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for MSSQL and MongoDB in Production and DR environments
• Troubleshoot incidents, outages, failovers, and performance issues
• Manage high availability setups (SQL Always On, MongoDB Replica Sets)
• Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery validation
• Optimize queries, indexing, and database performance
• Support deployment, data migration, and release activities
• Ensure security, access control, and compliance in regulated environments

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of DBA experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:Microsoft SQL Server (Always On, performance tuning)MongoDB (replica sets, backup/restore)
• Experience supporting 24/7 production systems and critical incidents
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in Singapore Government or regulated environments
• Exposure to Kafka, APIs, ETL, or microservices architectures
• Familiarity with ITIL / structured incident management processes
