QA Engineer / Test Automation Specialist

Role Description • QA Engineer:Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality. • Identify, document, and track defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution. • Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to creating test plans and test strategies. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Support continuous improvement of QA processes and practices. • Test Automation Specialist:Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. • Implement automated testing solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing. • Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. • Monitor automated test results and ensure reliability and accuracy of test coverage. • Research and implement best practices in test automation and QA processes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Experience in QA, testing, or automation roles (2–5 years for QA Engineer; 3–7 years for Test Automation Specialist). • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices. • Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar). • Programming or scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages. • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins) is a plus. •
