Project Engineer (Automation)

Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful execution of projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating across teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment
• Act as a key liaison between clients and project teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and key milestones
• Ensure deliverables meet customer specifications and quality expectations
• Assist in resource coordination and problem-solving during project execution
• Prepare reports and provide insights to management on project performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in project engineering, coordination, or similar roles (manufacturing/industrial environment preferred)
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies is an advantage
• Exposure to automation technologies or design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus
