SAP Material Management (MM) Solutions Architect – Supply Chain Management

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Material Management (MM) Solutions Architect to bridge business needs with SAP technology solutions in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Planning domain, focusing on Inventory Management, Material Management, and Asset Management. You will assess business requirements, recommend process improvements anchored in technology, lead solution design, and support both pre-sales and project delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and deliver SAP SCM solutions (SAP MM, PM, WM) including proposal writing, presentations, and Proof-of-Concepts
• Recommend SAP solutions, select appropriate technologies, and estimate resources to meet customer requirements
• Lead business workshops, assessments, and client consultations
• Articulate solution alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk, highlighting business value
• Provide pre-sales consultancy services globally and engage stakeholders in project and sales decisions
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, anticipating and exceeding expectations
• Identify opportunities for service expansion, working with Account Managers to drive business development
• Lead and mentor Solution Architects and presales teams, develop enablement materials, and ensure service quality and consistency
• Maintain reusable components to facilitate solution selling and delivery
• Contribute to competency development and enablement across the community globally

Qualifications & Experience

• 15–18 years of SAP SCM experience, including SAP MM, SAP PM, SAP WM modules
• Proven experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, including migration from ECC to S/4HANA
• Experience in Singapore Public Sector SAP projects preferred
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build trust, and maintain respectful relationships
• Self-motivated with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Willingness to travel as required
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related discipline
