Data Engineer (Python, PANDAS)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, optimize, and support scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, troubleshooting production data issues, and improving database performance in an agile, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve data issues, production outages, and performance bottlenecks.
• Debug data pipeline failures and investigate unexpected data changes.
• Optimize SQL queries and monitor database health for scalability and efficiency.
• Design and maintain robust, automated data pipelines and workflows.
• Enable secure and efficient data access while ensuring compliance.
• Recommend and adopt best-in-class data engineering tools and practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement optimal data ingestion and storage strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
• Strong Python expertise, with hands-on experience using Pandas for large-scale data processing.
• Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and debugging production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in ambiguous data environments.
