Job Description

Position: Finance & Operations Manager

Location: Singapore, Paya Lebar (hybrid)

Industry: Renewable Energy / Construction / International Trading

About the Company

Our client is a dynamic and growing business group with multiple holding companies in Singapore. The group manages renewable energy and construction projects overseas, primarily in Sri Lanka and India. They are seeking a highly independent and hands-on Finance & Operations Manager to support both the financial and operational aspects of the business.

Role Overview

This is a broad and independent role suitable for a strong accountant who is comfortable managing full-set accounts while also supporting operational and trading functions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial and operational processes across the group.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

• Handle full-set accounts for multiple holding companies in Singapore

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions

• Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external service providers

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in Singapore

Operations & Business Support

• Support operational functions across renewable energy and construction projects overseas

• Manage order processing and trading-related transactions

• Coordinate documentation and payment processes for overseas projects

• Monitor operational costs and support process improvements

• Work closely with overseas stakeholders in Sri Lanka and India

• Support ad-hoc operational and administrative matters as required

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a recognised professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA)

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting

• Comfortable working in a very independent and hands-on role

• Experience handling multiple entities or group structures will be an advantage

• Exposure to trading, project-based businesses, construction, or renewable energy will be a plus

• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

• Good communication skills and able to work with overseas stakeholders
