About the role:

The Accounts Manager leads and oversees the finance and accounting functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, robust financial controls, and strategic oversight of budgeting, policies, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and receipts

• Develop, review, and implement financial and accounting policies to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Prepare and present timely financial reports and updates to Management

• Lead financial analysis and forecasting to support business performance and decision-making

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the annual audit process

• Liaise with corporate secretaries, bankers, tax agents, and other external stakeholders to support business activities

• Manage cash flow and working capital to optimise financial resources

• Undertake additional finance-related duties and projects as assigned

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Finance, or a recognised professional accounting qualification

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the retail or F&B industry

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience in group consolidation

• Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software

• Familiarity with AI tools, or a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies

• Positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
