Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Full spectrum of Accounting and Finance functions including tax and ensuring compliance with financial and loan covenants.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making for the assigned portfolio.
  • Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management for the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and support to finance teams and outsourced service providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Operation, HQ Finance, HQ Treasury, Company Secretary, and Internal/External Auditors to maintain compliance with internal control, finance policies and reporting standards.
  • Manage GST, corporate tax, and other statutory reporting matters, including liaising with tax agents and relevant authorities.
  • Identify opportunities and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Support corporate exercises such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or department head.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and GST reporting.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software Yardi and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
  • Hands-on and committed work ethic.
  • Prior experience in the Real Estate sector.
  • Candidates with audit experience in the Real Estate industry will also be considered
