Job Description

About the Role:

As a CBRE WSH Officer, you'll oversee the Workplace Safety and Health policies and plans - implementation of both the current and revised.

This job is a part of the Safety Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the Protocols, as well as the local laws and regulations.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including emergency response plans, and fire safety plans
  • Oversees security operations; Develop, implement, and maintain site‑level safety and security programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for physical security and health & safety risks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them
  • Collaborate with DCSG to understand their safety requirements and develop safety plans that meet their needs
  • Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with safety policies/ procedures
  • Provide safety support to DCSG employees and visitors, including responding to safety incidents and providing guidance on safety procedures
  • Communicate with account team and security personnel, to ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented consistently

What You'll Need:

  • Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C)
  • Registered Senior Fire Safety Manager
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant HSE operational experience
  • Mechanical & Electrical working experience preferred
  • Recognized relevant professional qualification in fire safety and environmental management would be a distinct advantage (e.g. FSM / Registered EC officer)
  • Experience of working in a number of the following areas in a client facing Health, Safety and Environment compliance
  • Excellent communication skills
