Technical Manager (12 Months contract)

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end project delivery (scope, timeline, budget, and quality)
• Coordinate technical discussions, stakeholder meetings, and testing activities
• Track risks, issues, and action items to ensure timely resolution
• Prepare and maintain project artefacts (status reports, RAID logs, documentation)
• Provide regular updates to management and steering committees

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate with teams across Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Operations, and PMO
• Work closely with business users and KRI data owners to align requirements
• Ensure smooth communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical & Data Collaboration

• Partner with engineers to design and implement ETL pipelines and system integrations
• Understand data flows, KRI metrics, and source systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Tenable, SharePoint)
• Identify opportunities to automate data extraction and improve data processes
• Support enhancements to Power BI dashboards for effective reporting

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, and governance frameworks
• Support audit and compliance documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in data or technology projects
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Good understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data modelling, data validation)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and system integration
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2) is a plus
• Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or PowerShell) is advantageous
