Network Engineer (DC Networks)

Network Engineer
• Responsible for supporting Overseas WAN, Corporate Access Internet , campus network designs.

• Work with team to support DC network related tasks as a part of BAU work, also flexible to work on project related tasks

• Develop network change plans and obtain approvals from technical reviewer

• Document network diagrams, configurations, and procedures as a part of SOP guidelines

• Perform UAT/regression test plan according to change nature

• Support team to maintain network hygiene and compliance status by fixing VA and APARs (OS patching, VA fix) for routers & switches.

• Support network change implementation activities during Bank’s green zone time with maker/checker procedure

Requirements :
• Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise WAN or data center environment

• Proficient in TCP/IP, Layer 3 protocols OSPF, BGP, IPSec as well as Layer 2 Ethernet technologies such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), port channel etc

• Routing & Switching: Hands on experience with Cisco IOS XE, NX-OS, Arista devices

• Tools: Proficient in network monitoring SolarWinds, Nagios, ELK suites or similar.

• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
